The 4-arm cryo probe staion presents the opportunity to measure on a sample in vacuum and both heat it with electrical heater or cool it with liquid nitrogen. Sample is mounted inside by removing the top inspection glass window. Please avoid retracting the probes under high vacuum since this has damaged them several times before. Do not leave the system under vacuum for a long time since this will also put stress on the arms mechanical adjustment screws.
